August First Friday opened our new secondary gallery area and featured the interactive installation entitled We're Fans, which activated both of the spaces simultaneously. The gallery visitors really gave us a workout that night!! See video of the setup and more photos.

The WMC summer crew has been hard at work, doing a bit of demolition in the back area of the gallery. Over the course of the summer this space will be refurnished into another workable gallery area, so that we can accomodate almost twice the amount of people and artworks/happenings. Be sure to visit each First Friday, and soon we'll have a grand opening for our secondary space!!

On March 4th, The WMC is proud to present recent works by Eduardo Carriazo, Liz DiDonna, Kelly Gallo, Pavel Protsyuk, Hans Rasch, Alejandro Simon, Dominick Stella and Noah Verrier, all first year students in the MFA studio arts program at FSU. 6pm-9pm

The WMC will be open at 6PM tomorrow for this February's exhibition featuring MFA candidates Oscar Perez and Christina Poindexter. Refreshing beverages and refreshing conversations will be provided courtesy of the artists. The gallery floor recently got a makeover courtesy of the backbreaking labor of a group of grad students. They scraped away a few years of floor paint and left behind a beautiful concrete surface that will be a great foundation for many artworks and installations to come.
